Today we wanted the school children to participate in the commemoration of the earthquake that hit our towns in 2012. Mayor Calciolari recalled that on that day when the earth shook, many houses, schools, churches and businesses were ruined. There were victims, people, including the parents of these children, were very afraid, but then everyone helped each other together; firefighters, civil protection, doctors, teachers and neighbors. They all rebuilt together.
Today, all together, we wanted to remember those who are no longer here and thank those who helped us rebuild to learn how to protect ourselves better.
