On Wednesday 4 March, the first day of Lent, Don Emilio invited the children to church to receive the ashes (obtained from the burning of the olive branches blessed during Palm Sunday the previous year).
The imposition of Ashes invites us to reflect and encourages us to focus on our relationship with God and to try to improve it during this period of Lent.
If we all observe the fast proposed by Pope Francis, our daily life will be filled with PEACE, TRUST and LIFE.
