Monday 8 May, ninth appointment with the "guess who's coming to school" project; today it's Eleonora's turn, Alice's mother with the metamorphosis of caterpillars into butterflies.
Transformation is the process on which life is based. It requires as many transformative stages of us as our ages; changes necessary to evolve and progress. Parts of us must be overcome and let go to make room for new ones.
And so it is also for butterflies which have a very complex life cycle made up of four stages completely different from each other: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, adult. Today we have been offered the opportunity to learn more about this miracle of nature and children will be able to have the experience of taking care of a living being destined for great change.
