The educational planning of the school is based on a pedagogical orientation that finds in outdoor education a terrain capable of satisfying its principles and needs:
protagonism and centrality of the child in the educational experience (starting from his questions, his interests, using his language...);
learning by experience;
respect for deadlines;
Consider the natural environment a multidisciplinary field;
Recognize the body as an instrument of knowledge and relationship
Using the garden as an additional classroom and privileged space for children's experiences therefore means considering it as a full-fledged place of learning, well-being and relationships: a place that allows you to express and experiment with numerous languages (playful, motor, emotional-affective, social, expressive, creative...); space in which children feel better and learn better about reality. Outdoor education also allows you to meet all the objectives and goals set by the fields of experience present in the national indications for the nursery school curriculum. The school garden is designed and subject to continuous rethinking precisely so that it continues to be an "open-air classroom".
